Indian lotus scientifically known as Nelumbo nucifera, and it’s considered as sacred lotus and is one of two extant species of aquatic plant in the family Nelumbonaceae. It grows in water up to 2.5 m (8 ft), and having growing season April to September and required temperature is 23 to 27 °C (73 to 81 °F). Indian lotus Attar is extracted from hydro-distillation method from the flowers of pink lotus having earthy, delicate, and floral aroma. The lotus attar is perfectly blends with Sandalwood, ambari, agar wood and some other essential oils.
