Description: Chia Seed Carrier Oil is extracted from the seeds of the Salvia hispanica plant. Produced mostly in South America, Chia Seed oil is a commonly used culinary oil in the region. Chia Seed Oil is extracted using a mechanical process, at low temperatures to preserve the natural beneficial properties of the oil.

Common Uses: Chia Seed Carrier Oil has the perfect balance of Omega 3 to Omega 6 Essential Fatty Acids, which are necessary for a healthy looking skin. It contains powerful Antioxidants and Phytonutrients and protects the skin against the abuse of environmental elements and helps prevent the signs of aging skin. It is considered an ideal ingredient in moisturizing formulations, as it prevents water-loss by protecting skin's moisture barrier, and keeps the skin hydrated.
